The Lakewood Neighborhood Association is sponsoring another in our successful series of charity poker tournaments, with proceeds helping to beautify our neighborhood. This one is coming up Tuesday, April 28.
The Lakewood Neighborhood Association invites all residents (men & women) and their friends to come and play in a Charity Texas Hold 'em Poker Tournament on Wednesday, November 12. Top player wins a 42" HDTV.
August's charity spotlight is on Juliette Fowler homes, helping more than 330 residents each day.
Summer trips, a "green" Lakewood, and an important notice about the dance hall special use permit issue.
The Lakewood Neighborhood Association has received three renderings of the exterior of the new Whole Foods store. (1 response so far)

Kicking it up a notch
This is the year the Green Slacker is going to kick it up a notch. Over the holidays and a couple of glasses of wine, my friend and fellow blogger Isa and I came up with some great ideas for the Green Slacker blog. Our goal is to have fun, be "greener" than last year and recruit more green slackers to our cause! (1 response so far)
